Well, even without a working laptop I am still producing something it would seem... even if it takes me forever.
Anywho... this wallpaper is made from a portrait of Maria Luisa de Parma, painted by Anton Raphael Mengs around 1766.
Maria Luisa was Queen Consort of Spain, the wife of Charles IV of Spain, in the late 18th century. She was not well liked in her lifetime, said to be a vicious and course woman who the people blamed for everything from the poisoning of the Princess of Naples to Napoleon invading Spain.
Something about this portrait just stood out to me, thus I made this wallpaper... I was going for a somewhat "romance novel cover" style concept with this one.
I can't because I just started from the beginning with her face cut off, sorry. Don't ask me why I cut their faces in half... it's just my weird thing I do.
