I secretly wonder if Queen Elizabeth I had some influence on the ruffs being fashionable around this time in history.. I definately guess so, as red hair was also seen as a beauty feature.
The Duchess is certainly one of the prettier women I've seen in portraits, and once again I love what you've done with it!
